Easy No-Bake Eggnog Pie!

I wanted to try using eggnog to make a quick dessert at least once more before Christmas because we really loved the eggnog taste in my "doctored up" cake earlier this week.  I came across a no-bake pie recipe through Pinterest, which I am always a fan of because I need something quick to whip up in the kitchen, while still keeping an eye on my 3 boys.  This no-bake eggnog pie tastes so delicious and is best made a day in advance.  This eggnog pie is super rich in taste - I like to save some additional time by buying premade graham cracker crust for the pie at the supermarket (I used a 9 oz. one for this recipe, and there was just enough filling for it).  I also really prefer making my own whipped cream as it just tastes fresher - all you have to do is beat some whipped cream with an electric mixer for a few minutes, and you've got the freshest creamiest whipped cream ever.  Once your pie is ready you can really top it with anything - some icing, whipped...

Doctored Up Eggnog Cake Mix & Glaze

I've been so excited to try the Christmas eggnog flavor in my cooking recently, and now that my boys are all back to feeling better after coughing for what's felt like a month, I've gotten back to some experimenting with new flavors in my kitchen.  Thanks to my friends at Farmland Fresh Dairies who sent us some of their fresh and delicious eggnog to try out for the holidays.  Eggnog definitely makes me think of Christmas, and so I am trying it out in a few ways this month.
